Amara Combined Cycle Power Plant

Amara Combined Cycle Power Plant

Our contribution to the Amara Power Generation Plant represented a key milestone in supporting Iraq’s growing energy demand. The project was designed to deliver a total capacity of 250 MW and involved comprehensive EPC activities, beginning with detailed engineering and technical planning and extending through procurement, construction, installation, and system integration. The scope covered the implementation of critical plant systems, including advanced fire protection solutions, extensive piping networks, storage tank installations, water treatment systems, and complete HVAC works to ensure operational efficiency and safety.

In addition, the project included major mechanical and civil works such as the construction of the Steam Turbine Hall (STH), installation of primary water and gas transmission pipelines, and the erection of pipe racks supporting complex process systems. Significant civil infrastructure upgrades were executed, including drainage networks, sewage systems, and stormwater management facilities, all designed to meet operational reliability and environmental requirements. Through careful coordination, quality control, and adherence to safety standards, the project contributes to strengthening regional power stability, enabling industrial growth, creating employment opportunities, and supporting long-term economic development across
